I'm having cold feet, not about marrying VW, but about this actual wedding thing. It seems to grow and wobble every time I turn my back. I look at if full on and it is just a small party to celebrate our commitment to each other. But there is so much tradition surrounding wedding thing. I say I'm engaged, and people go "awwww, congratulations!" but VW and I will marry on our 9th anniversary of couplehood. That is what I'm celebrating in my mind.
(I wrote about 1 1/2 years ago but didn't publish. I've now been married for a year and 2 months and everything went fine.)
